I use a scaled out version of the following based on https://autopot-usa.com/ technology

 

Setup

1. Fill reservoir with water
2. Connect host from reservoir to autopot
3. Fill pot with 1/2 clay pebbles and 1/2 coconut fibers to the halfway point
   1. After 2-3 week fill the pot higher to help stabilize plant
4. Put in Plant
5. Reservoir should need filling every week. It all depends on how thirsty the plant is.
   1. You can just have it filled with water for a week. Good for when you need to leave town and house sitters can’t measure or do math.

Notes

• The reservoir tank needs to be about 6 inches higher than the pot
• Try to get the pot a little bit off the ground so it’s not a hot surface.

Nutrients that go in the water

Mix in after you fill reservoir to top with water

This replaces all the good stuff that is in soil. I use General Hydroponics Products.

GH Flora Series’ General Hydroponics 32oz

General Hydroponics CALiMAGic 1-0-0

Add one at a time and stir good in between.

1. Calimag – 50 ml
2. stir
3. Flora Micro – 100ml
4. stir
5. Flora Grow – 50ml
6. stir
7. Flora Bloom – 50 ml
8. stir

 

Give the plant sun. Doesn’t have to be direct sun all day.
